Nutrition Seminar, with Chelsea Young from ModNutrition

 

The X-Project will be hosting a nutrition seminar with the owner of ModNutrition, Chelsea Young. 

ModNutrition is a food service that provides customized food prep and planning. Chelsea will go over the details of the impact diet has on your health and fitness progress, as well as the skinny on macronutrients and the absolute necessity of planning in any diet.

About Chelsea

 

Born and raised in Frederick County, Chelsea graduated from Walkersville High School in 2010 and graduated with a Business Administration degree from Hood College in 2014.

Chelsea has been involved in sports since middle school, where she ran track for 9 years and played field hockey for 7 years. She currently holds 11 school records for Track and Field at Hood College.

Upon graduation, Chelsea started a career in the marketing and event industry. She is now a Marketing Director for United Iron & Metal, a scrap metal recycling company in Baltimore, MD.

After graduating from Hood College, she has started participating in a new sport, CrossFit, dedicating majority of her time to this new found passion. Having a love for business and an entrepreneurial spirit, paired with seeing a need for healthier food to compliment her active lifestyle, she started a small meal prep business called MOD Nutrition. MOD Nutrition offers healthy, affordable, ready-to-serve, prepared meals and has nutrition coaching services.

Chelsea currently lives in Columbia, MD and enjoys spending her free time with her family, reading and writing. She plans to further work on her marketing career and eventually expand MOD Nutrition to offer a main location in her hometown, Frederick, MD. She also plans to be involved competitively in the sport of CrossFit, where she currently holds second fittest athlete in Maryland and 35th fittest in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
