Focus on effort and behaviors, not outcomes. Doing the right things and doing them the best you can is all that matters. Don’t use the outcomes as justification and validation that what you did was right or wrong. It’s always about the bigger picture and the long term victories. Don’t justify your unhealthy / crash diet because you lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and don’t be hard on yourself when you train hard and eat right for 3 months and only see small improvements on the scale. You know what effort and behaviors are doing good things for you and you know which ones aren’t. Patience is hard work consistently over long periods of time. Keep grinding, keep hustling, keep working hard.
